Privacy policy
What this website asks for, what we do with it, and the things we have deliberately left out.
The short version
Emmanuel Carpet Cleaning is a family business, not a marketing operation. The only information this website asks for is what you type into the contact form, and the only reason we want it is to get back to you about the work. There is no analytics on this site, no advertising or tracking pixels, and no cookies set by us.
What the contact form collects
The form on the contact page asks for:
- your name
- a phone number
- an email address
- the address or town the work is at, if you want to give it — it is optional
- which service you are asking about
- whatever you write in the message box
The form also carries one hidden field that a person never sees or fills in. Automated spam scripts fill in everything, so if that field comes back with anything in it the message is thrown away. It collects nothing about you.
That is the whole list. The site has no account to create, no login and no newsletter sign-up.
What we do with it
We read it and we reply — to give you an estimate, arrange a time, or answer the question you asked. That is the only thing it is used for. We do not sell it, rent it or pass it to anyone marketing at you, and sending the form does not put you on a mailing list.
Nothing is stored on the website itself; there is no database behind it. A form delivery service passes what you send to our email inbox, and it then sits in our email like any other message.
What this site does not do
Worth spelling out, because most websites do the opposite:
- No analytics. We do not measure or profile your visit.
- No advertising pixels, conversion tags or tracking scripts, from anyone.
- No cookies set by this site.
- No embedded maps, videos, chat widgets or social feeds sitting inside the pages.
- No fonts pulled from someone else’s server. Both typefaces are served from this site, so opening a page here does not quietly tell a font company you were reading it.
Hosting and server logs
The site is a set of plain files hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare handles the request when you open a page, and like any web host it keeps standard server logs — the sort of record that includes an IP address, the page asked for and the time — in order to serve the site and keep it from being abused.
Those logs are Cloudflare’s, kept under their own terms. We do not build reports out of them, and we do not tie them to anything you send us through the form.
How long we keep it
A request sits in our email inbox the way any other email does. We keep it while the job is live and for a while afterwards, in case you call back about the same room. If you would rather it were gone before then, ask and we will delete it.
Your choices
There is no form to fill in for any of this. Call and say so:
- Ask what we hold. We will look and tell you. For most people it is one email and a phone number in a call log.
- Ask us to delete it. We will, unless we are in the middle of the job you asked for — in which case we will delete it once the work is done and paid for.
- Skip the form entirely. Call instead. A phone call never touches this website.
We are a small business working in Oregon. Depending on where you live, state or federal law may give you further rights over your information. We are not going to guess which of those apply to you, and you do not need to cite one to ask — ask plainly and we will do it.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect anything from them. If you believe a child has sent us something through the form, call us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If the site ever starts collecting more than it does today, this page gets rewritten and the date at the top changes with it. We are not going to add something quietly and leave this page reading as it does now.
How to reach us
Questions about this page, or about anything we hold, go to the same place everything else does:

Ask us what we have on you
One phone call covers it — what we hold, or deleting it. The same number gets you an estimate.
